This first watercolor scene was a picture I took when I went on a vacation to Macau, China. It was a technically difficult painting, especially I had to consider perspective. I am very happy with the final result as it gives a desolate atmosphere. Macau is a very old city but experiences an influx of casinos and new infrastructure. During my trip, I took many pictures to capture the contrast between the old and new and hopefully will explore this idea more.

This watercolor piece is a picture of the Blue Mosque in Turkey. It's a very beautiful and prominent structure. I used blue and orange as a contrasting color scheme.
