"Mary Had A Little Lamb"
BCSFF 2017 Nomination
In partnership with Jonathan Zhao
The goal of this animation was to put a twist onto a traditional nursery rhyme, "Mary Had A Little Lamb."
We decided to set the story in a capitalist world, making the sheep a luxury that Mary is willing to enslave. One day, a pig offers Mary a pile of cash for her sheep friend. The pig then sets up a factory that sheers sheep wool and then mass produces clothing items. These sheep are treated like slaves to the point where a sheep revolution ensues.
This was a super fun project as animation gives a lot of creative freedom in color and movement.
