Biography

Rachel Tong is currently a first-year student at the University of British Columbia. She marvels at the world around her and treats it like an endless source of inspiration. The audio-visual arts has always been a large part her personal development. In her mere eighteen years of life, she has been exposed to the idea of identity, and what it means for her to be part of the Chinese-Canadian community. Her unconventional background in visual arts and filmmaking allows her to freely express her ideas which further explores her understanding in cultural diversity.
